Cop head Po Bromin was careful at every stance because he knew well that there is an inevitable possibility of the precious gems being exhibited here to be stolen. He was conscious about the visitor invited to the function. He kept on contacting the subordinates securing the boundaries of the city that night. Suddenly he received a message: “James reached the city. Be careful”
His face became pale. He started sweating despite the cold wind. He informed some of the police officers to rush to the boundaries of the red square. He seemed to be tensed.
It was 12 O’ at night and inside the gems parlor a peaceful atmosphere was prevailing. Almost five hundred people were present there. The exhibition commenced.
“Dear friends, an announcement for you. We may be excused for not exhibiting the renowned Taylor’s diamond.”
A murmur of disagreement arose from the people.
Understanding their situation the gentleman added.
“However we have given an opportunity for five fortunate people to view the Taylor’s diamond. The murmur ceased suddenly. Our honorable chief Tin Howler will select the lucky people. Tin howler woke up from the chair and moved on to the stage.
He took out five names and read out.
There was a sound of pray from them.
He started reading out.
“The first lucky person is Mr. Robinson.”
There was a huge clap from the audience.
Robinson indeed was at cloud nine.
